A One Day English Programme

RATIONAL


This program is for formal school and 1 meeting.
This program is suitable for Students in ages 5 to 7.
Students in ages 5 to 7 are capable of developing good oral skills, pronunciation, and intonation when they have a good model. Peppa Pig-Shopping” video is a TV children’s programs. It is a good example for students because learning speaking through TV children’s programs is close to students’ life.
The topic of this program is fruit. Students in ages 5 to 7 are still developing their vocabulary.Students in ages 5 to 7 learn best with concrete material. Fruit posters are a good example for students’ ages 5 to 7 because students could see the concrete of the things.

ACTIVITIES 
1.Ask Students “How are you?”
2.Ask Students “Are you ready?”

3.Greet class with “Good Morning” song

4.Ask Students to stand up

5.Make a circle in front of the class

6.Sing a “Walking, Running, Jump” song

7.Write the date on the whiteboard

8.Take attendances of the Students 
9.Tell Students of a lesson aim
10.Put fruit posters in the whiteboard. Ask Students “What is this?” Tell the name of the
fruit in the picture. Tell the Students to repeat the name of the fruit in the picture “Can you
repeat please?” 
11.Tell Students the aim of watching “Peppa Pig-Shopping”  video 
12.Tell Students to focus on the shopping list, name of the fruit and amount of fruits that
 Peppa Pig buys. 
13.Show a whole sequence of the “Peppa Pig-Shopping” video first.
14.Show a specific sequence of the “Peppa Pig-Shopping” video. Have Students to complete
picture of the fruit in Activity 1. 
15.Show a specific sequence of the “Peppa Pig-Shopping” video. Have Students to tick
picture of the fruit in Activity 2. 
16.Ask Students to write down a shopping list in Activity 3. 
17.Allow Students to watch “Peppa Pig-Shopping” video for the last time.
18.Point fruit posters and ask Students “What is this?” Tell the name of the fruit in the
posters. Tell the Students to repeat the name of the fruit in the picture “Can you repeat
 please?”Ask Students to mention the name of the fruits using fruit posters that put in the
whiteboard. 
19.Review what has been learned. 
20.Sing a song “Good bye” song.
